I was born in New York in 1972 and have been taking pictures ever since I got a Canon AE1 Program as a Bar Mitzvah gift in 1985. My work has been published in international magazines such as National Geographic Traveler and Popular Science as well as in leading Israeli newspapers such as Ha'aretz and The Jerusalem Post. Based in Be'ersheva, southern Israel, I've served as staff photographer for Ben-Gurion University of the Negev since 1999. With a passion for travel photography, my portfolio includes images ranging from the Brazilian rainforests to the African savanna in Malawi and Zambia. Other interests include architecture, fine arts, landscapes and portraiture, all of which I approach with an eye for detail and creative visual techniques aimed at capturing the essence of diverse subjects.
